If everything else looks fine, what could be causing this anomaly? I have an NVIDIA 8600GT 512MB running on Ubuntu.

3. Time code question - in Linux [original thread]
Hey guys, if I bought a 90-day time code and have used it for about 20-30 days, can I sell back the timecode to someone? Is it possible to take the actual code and use it on another account or am I stuck with it? Cheers!

6. Problem installing Eve on Ubuntu - in Linux [original thread]
Launching either the config utility or the game itself (through the Applications-Games menu) after running the .deb install file will download the game files from CCP's server and install them. Once that is done you should be able to simply launch...

7. Problems, EVE Ubuntu! - in Linux [original thread]
1. I think tabbing between windows is disabled in full-screen mode. Though if you don't mind playing in windowed mode, just free your mouse in the Config utility and you'll be able to switch to any other app. I usually play this way as I do a lot ...

8. Download fail? - in Linux [original thread]
Has this issue once, I deleted everything (.cedega and uninstalled EVE), I re-downloaded the .deb file, rebooted and tried to install again. Worked fine this time around. Maybe you're just losing connection to the server.

Did you try switching back from VN_VAR to ARB_VBO in EVE config to see if that alleviates the FPS drop?

12. Anyone else having performance issues with the new Nvidia drivers? - in Linux [original thread]
New drivers are fine for me. Though I am curious how you're enabling anti-aliasing... are you doing this through nvidia-settings? If not, might want to check there and try to adjust the settings manually.

13. eve-distro - in Linux [original thread]
Well not quite by default, I believe Xorg is used by default and you are offered to use proprietary drivers as an option. The other major thing to consider is that most (if not all) distros fit onto a single CD-ROM. The EVE install is almost 1GB ...
